    Yes, much has changed, but ironically, our office charges less for single vision lenses now than we did in 1990! I can't say the same for AR, as we didn't sell it in 1990.

    How do LC produce AR in house?

    Interesting........................Frames can be had a lot cheaper than 20 years ago and lenses are at a long time low, as they cost so little to produce as long as you stay away from the big corporations products.

    Not very well. I see it craze and peel all the time. It's a cheap "Turn and Burn" coating that doesn't hold up anywhere near as well as Avance or Purecoat. I guess LC banks on some people's perception of lenses as being somewhat disposable.
