use the lens/blocks washer. then use ultrosonic cleaner. then use a stiff bristle brush for futher cleaning.

First, I scrape off as much excess wax as possible with a dull spreading knife, then I use the lens washer - but it must be kept clean as well - otherwise the wax builds up on the brushes, and it just moves the wax film around instead of removing it.
Also, you can try increasing the temperature of your lens washer, theres a small potentiometer on the circuit board that can be turned with a screwdriver.
Even so, the blocks do not come out completely free of the waxy film. I just use a little bit of elbow grease and a dry cloth to wipe off the excess, as I'm using them.

We have a small operation. No automatic reclaimer, washers. We have found that if you put the blocks in warm water for a about a minute (sorry, I don't have a temp for you, but it's a little hotter than luke warm), the wax peels off in almost one piece like rubber. Too hot and the wax gets sticky. Too cold and it is brittle and cracks up into a million pieces. But when you get it just right, it works like a charm.
