[QUOTE=bhess25;401905]i spoke with the rep @ east west...mr.blue is 61k...unless you get the mye touch feature then its cloer to 69k!![/QUOTE

The price that you are quoting is not close to what you can actually purchase a complete Mr Blue System with MyeTouch.

For Drilling, the Santinelli systems would be Lex-1000 with the LexDrill, about $50,000 or ME-1000/1200 for about $65,000. The LE-1000 does not have any drilling options. (Unless you added a Smart Drill)
Or you could go for a Huvitz system at about $50,000. The Huvitz interface for drilling is easier to customize, in that any Drill Design is on a separate level and so, like any drawing program, you can “Drop” the drill coordinates onto any new lens shape. When I was working for Santinelli, all drilling information was “Locked” to the lens shape you worked on. So every drill job had to be set up separately.

Next year the "Shape" by Optek will be available. This is a Multi-Axis, Milling system similar to the MEI or Helix systems, but at the same price the Santinelli systems. Also this is a Touch screen with a Window drawing program that loadable to a Laptop. This way anything you could design on a drawing program can be added to the lens.
