I am using a CECIL 4055 reflectance spectrometer, which is good for AR and most other tests. Cost close to 20K
It has been a while but BPI used to make an economical meter. I have also used the Humphrey'e lens analayizer (Ziess) that we used as lensometer, UV meter and had print out options. Expensive but for a high volume lab/store a worth while investment.
There are some good inexpensive UV meters on the market, its just that they are not made anymore on this continent like they used to be 15 to 20 years ago.
These instruments are perfect for an optical retail store to check and sell UV treated lenses.
I got one from Ming optical in Toronto ( I think) Very inexpensive...like $125.00 I think. Sorry it was about 2 years ago. I do remember that it was about 65% less than anywhere else.
