    Sightstar lenses

    Hi Guys,

Has anyone dispensed any Sightstar lenses from Luzerne?
It's a good price point but not too many people are familiar with it.
    Thanks for any input!

I have been using that lens as my basic model for the past 2 years. It has work out pretty well. Lately I have started to use the sightseer365 as my basic freeform option and so far so good. I think it's worth the try for it's price.

    fitting Sighstar PALs

    I noticed that there are Sightstar 11, 11W, 13, 13W, 15, and 15 w.

I assume the number is for seg ht? what about the W? I spoke to a lab guy at Luzerne, he said something about low add vs high, and frame width. Would like to hear what you guys think. Thanks!

Actually the 11, 13 and 15 refer to corridor length rather than fitting height. The W is for wide. The W designs work best for higher add powers(+2.00 and up) which generally reduce the effective width of the reading area.

PM me your email address and I can send you the information.
