I have a Haag-Streit 900 Tonometer that needs calibrating. It reads about 6 increments off with calibration tool. I have heard this is an easy fix. Can anyone help?

Contact Haag-Streit @ 800-787-5426, and ask for service department. Calibration by factory rep; U.S.
I have contacted Lombart Instruments who will clean and calibrate for $320 + shipping. I was hoping I could save some $ by using someone else or doing it myself since I am somewhat mechanically inclined. Below is part of an old thread which is what got me inquiring on this site. After some research I can not find a contact for Matt Vinnedge with heartlandophthalmics.
Thanks Joel! I can calibrate them as well. We do them for half as much as Haag Streit and it only takes a day instead of 4 weeks like Haag Streit! Let me know if you run across some. I don't need the mounts, just the tonometers with the arm.

I already contacted Lombart Insruments (Haag dealer) and they want $320 + shipping to clean and calibrate. There was an old thread by Matt Vinnedge of heartlandophthalmics and cyrstaloptical (Joel). Joel said he could service tonometers and Matt said he could calibrate for half as much as Haag-Streit and would take one day opposed to four weeks. This is what got me inquiring. Heartlandophthalmics.com and the phone number Matt has listed is no longer available. I am somewhat mechanically inclined, so i wondered if i could do this myself or use someone other than factory to save $.
I use Indy Instrument service for are tonometers and are phoropters and they have done a nice job .there ph# 1-317-372-9091 and they are much cheaper than than Haag-Streit .
Thanks. I left a message for Wendall to call me. Rob
