We currently have a Customer Service Representative career opportunity at OptiSource International in Bellport, NY.


POSITION PURPOSE:
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for maintaining and building relationships with new and existing customers to enhance sales growth. Performance will be judged based on a combination of efficient and friendly handling of inbound calls as well as the ability to upsell/cross-sell OptiSource product offering. Prefer candidate to be located on site in Bellport, NY but telecommuting may be an option.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Organizes and sets activities using our CRM systems based on customer requirements.
2. Field calls from existing and new customers and provide best-of-class experiences.
3. Handle service calls in a professional fashion and resolve customer issues to its finality.
4. Responsible for gaining new accounts via territory prospecting and handling inbound inquiries from marketing efforts.
5. Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of broad brands of optical products, applying that knowledge appropriately and effectively in selling situations.
6. Utilizes corporate tools and software applications to document, plan, monitor status and meet sales objectives within his/her assigned account list.
7. Effectively uses all marketing support and training materials to promote account growth.
8. Presents a professional image and represents the company in line with stated core values.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
 Telephone sales experience; Meeting call time/activity requirements
 Strong interpersonal skills i.e. flexibility, adaptability and a proven ability to work in a team environment.
 The successful candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and good organizational skills.
 Demonstrated computer skills (MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, & general PC navigation).
 Must be able to work confined to a desk for extended periods and is exposed to continuous noise from others in the work area.
 Must be able to handle multiple concurrent tasks at one time.
 Must have working knowledge of optics, lenses, coatings, and lens prescriptions.
