Does the fetus wear glasses?
Ultrasound scans have been used in antenatal care for over thirty years and there is no evidence to suggest that they are harmful to you or your baby. Most women whose pregnancy is progressing without complications will be offered a maximum of two to three scans in their pregnancy.
Most scans are performed by a sonographer, who is the health professional trained to use the ultrasound equipment, to take measurements of your baby and to check for major abnormalities. Sonographers are not specialists in obstetrics or fetal medicine, so if something is found you will usually be referred to someone with specialist knowledge.
The way I read this: She was asking if it hurt Anti-Reflective Coatings.
This is an optical forum, you know.

I thought she was talking about anomalous retinal correspondence.
Us opticians ain't sposed to even know woids like that, much less what they means. Now anti-reflective coating, we sposed to know bout.

If you are questioning the effect of ultrasonic cleaners on anti-reflection coated lenses........the answer is no effect.....providing the AR is a quality standard, no flaw coating. A degraded, chemically damaged coating coupled with a high intensity, heated, and caustic liquid filled ultrasonic cleaner may further eroded it.
