Figure 8 works for me. However I have recently been told by a lab benchman that there are three sizes. Rimless interliner might also be used as a name for same. I would assume that "regular chord" is just plain old monofiliment fishing line. When using fishing line to re-string please remember that the diameter (and there are several used on optical frames) is important, not the pound-test.

When you select frames to purchase, be sure to carefully inspect to be sure the company is not sticking you with a solid metal liners. Take the lens out if nessesary. Chip thier filler lens, not the patients. Be sure.
