Actually I think that the clubmaster is still available from Ray-Ban, and appearently ethnic groups call it the malcomb X frame.
I have a black one with G-15 lenses in stock if you can't find one.

Go with the Art-Craft, ditch the Lux. You can tell your customer the frames are actually made in the USA, not China. Also don't forget that in this case, Lux is the copycat, not the original.

How about the original Ronsir Zyl? Still made in the USA in all sizes and colors. I have a great pair myself, love them. http://www.shuron.com/ronsir_zyl.htm

A fun cheap modern knockoff is the Geek Eyewear 201 from LBI. It's not on their site, but I was still able to order a couple from them. They are actually pretty nice for the price. I've paid more for crappier China product.

Let us get this straight, you got a patient who wants something special to achieve a certian look but he wants to go the cheap route? Special is worth a special price. If you can't afford you can do without. "

Stay away from the Ronsir, I don't believe for a millisecond that it's still made domestically. The gooseneck guardarms give it a cheap look. If Shuron says it's made here ask them to send a photo of the happy workers toiling away
    Money carefully refunded

I stock the Ronsir by Shuron. They have told me they are still made in the USA, although I am doubtful. The quality is actually quite good and considering the combination of sizes/temple lengths available there is always something for every head size. In my opinion the "Clubmaster" is overated. It didn't come out until about 1986, so it's not an "original" 1950's design like the Wayfarer, and the Ronsir has been around since 1947, so you could argue the Clubman is just a Ronsir copy anyway. And where do you think the Clubmaster is made? Certainly not the USA! Try Itlay (ie China) probably.

Very cool! And probably 1/4 of the price Lux is asking!

I remember that all guardarms looked like that. Much easier to properly customize the pad adjustments.

I wear the Alex as a sunglass. It is the epitome of awesome. VERY reasonable prices on the entire Marc Ecko line; I'm surprised at how affordable they are.
