How to take off top coat from superhidrofobic lens?

Hi to everyone. What do you folks use to remove anti-slip coat on superhidrofobic layer of lens? We tried etanol, isopropanol, also essiclean, and aceton with bed results.

Most manufacturers reccommend De-natured alcohol, which you can get at Home Depot in the paint section really cheap in the US and Canada. Its often sold as a paint thinner. In Serbia, I am not so sure.

We also use rubbing alcohol and a cotton cloth.

Paper towels? I tell my patients to avoid paper products to clean lenses.

A one to two second dip into hot lens dye neutralizer will do the trick.

Watch the use of alcohol on polycarb jobs. They will crack later on.

We like the new Pentax anti slip coating but have only found one lens cleaner that takes it off easily. It happens to be the bottles of stuff we give away and it comes from Quality Accessories.

I don't want to take off hydrophobic layer, above layer there is another layer: anti-slip layer, which doesn't allow lens to slip during edge cutting.
After edge cutting it should be removed and usually water and soap are enough , but not always. So I am looking for better solution which will take it off easily
but not to aggressive to damage AR and super-hydrophobic layer.

All kidding aside, to take off the antislip coating 91% isopropyl alcohol works wonders. If you're using it on poly, make sure its completely dry before glazing the lens into the frame. And NO PAPER PRODUCTS!
