More Than A Patternless Edger Company
this is so rare these days Craig - I want to visit your shop! It sounds wonderfulo..Kudos!
those frames are gorgeous...well done Craig!!...its a great thing to have a business in a high end market like that. The quality of work that must be put into those frames I'm sure is second to none. I manage a wholesale lab and I'm extremely picky about even the smallest details in eye wear , regardless of price (although higher end stuff is done me only!!), i could only imagine how picky the lab and you must be about the final product. I would love a chance to work with eye wear of that caliber! outstanding!!!
equal opportunity offender!!
I'm still curious as to what lenses you put them in.
Come on Craig, tell us what lenses you used. Like to know what I can get 2900 for, Emeralds maybe?
Chip
There's a very high end boutique store in town that specializes in extravagant frames but she sells "junk" lenses. Funny thing is, a lot of the patients come here or go somewhere else because they're learning just because they spent $1000 on a frame..doesn't mean they can see out of them.
Not saying this is the case but ever since you mentioned how expensive your frames are, I have been very curious what lenses you put in the frames. IE: materials, brands, coatings, etc..
WAY TO GO!!! You make us all proud of you. Not many of us are doing well enough to buy a frame like that to keep in stock. The best I can do is Lafont in my area. Some day I hope to get back into the high end.
I came, I saw, I left
Having met Craig when I worked for a lab he was doing business with, I can attest he uses quality lenses.
UFRICH:cheers:
Nice job Craig. We just got Alain Mikli and Starck in last week. That is high end enough over in Hackensack, NJ :)
The lenses are not $3,000.00; I use the Pech Pro in trivex with Natural-no residual color ar- for that pair and everything else we do. The cost for the lenses with coating are only $550.00. There was a frame for $14,000 in RX and a plano for her husband that costs $2,250+tax=$19,000.
All my customers get the same lenses if they buy a cheap $400 frame or a diamond piece.
outstanding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Man you guys are 1yr too late......
Just means Craig has to sell another one!
Wow. Great job! Did they get a free cleaner and cloth?
As I was out the other day I stopped by to see Craig at his store after I left my office Tuesday afternoon. As I was walking in I was almost ran over by some guy and women walking really fast into his store. Has this guy past me I could over hear him tell the lady that: “He was going to get this young guy!”
So I hung back to see what was going to happen. The guy walked into to Craig’s store all upset saying that his glasses had not been done correctly. Then after Craig addressed the 1st issue, he hit him with another one. He just could not win. First it had halos, then the sght was to high then it was suppose to have transitions.
You would think if you are going to pay that much for a frame you would make sure it was the way you wanted it.
But I have to say. In most stores we have one or two high end lines but every frame was the best frame in this store. Every frame had the best location. Not that I am kissing up here but my hats off here. I should have come in sooner to talk to Craig.
I would love to sell something like that, congratulations Craig!

A man went to an eye specialist to get his eyes tested and asked, "Doctor, will I be able to read after wearing glasses?"
"Yes, of course," said the doctor, "why not!"
"Oh! How nice it would be," said the patient with joy, "I have been illiterate for so long."
