    Wave Vintage B&L Pilot Parts.

I have a patient who's father was a World War II pilot and he left his his original US Navy issue Bauch&Lomb pilot glasses. I am trying to restore these for him as original as I can. I am looking for the B&L style flesh tone nose pads and the yellow tone temple covers. Does anybody out there have a set or can you direct me to where I can find these?

    Thanks
    James

    parts

the nose pads from that era were known as GRAYTON ROCKER PADS, and i believe were manufactured right up in rochester, ny, of course convenient for B@L.

There are several of these on ebay if you want to buy the whole frame, but some of them were reasonable.

You might also get a hold of DR. Walter Drill, who is on here as WALLEYE, hes up in lansdale, PA., he has a lot of old B@L stuff, and if you think about it hes the only Dr. who every time he makes a pair of glasses, can say its a Drill mount:bbg:
