    Remote desktop options?

Is anyone aware of an easily used windows program that allows remote desktop log ins to an offsite computer? I'm trying to help an old OptiBoarder with their new practice management software, and it'd be far easier to log in remotely, and show him many of the tips and tricks we've been discussing over the phone.

Thanks in advance for any and all info...

    Bri~

I have been involved with several. The best so far is http://logmein.com, but not the free version it cost's some $ 30.00 and if stuck the service is superb, one phone call and problems are solved right away.

I've always been a fan of vnc http://www.realvnc.com/ I've never had it not work. Setting up ports if you have a solid firewall can be tricky, but not hard.

The best one is teamviewer. You can easily download it as it is free to download and very user friendly software. Try it and let me know.

I like PCAnywhere. You can buy the software once (ebay) and it works for free forever. You don't necessarily need the latest version.

Log me in (free version) did not work to log into my office server (IT guy said it was due roaming IP address). I'd like to be able to log in from home as well.

I'm using splashtop to use an iPad2 and a Windows 7 machine. I LOVE it.

Tell the IT dude to setup a static IP for the server and forward all logmein port requests to the server.
