    position of the image

Hi, who can solve this problem?
an on-axial object is placed 100cm to the left of a thin lens of power +4.0D,and refractive index 1.5 .Find the position of the image formed.

    Thank you

The image should be 20cm to the right of the lens.

For an object 1 meter left of the lens, the light has a negative vergence of 1 diopter, combined with the +4D lens equals an effective refraction of a +3D lens. Image will be 33 cm right of the lens.

Your right Wes, mistake on my end I had added a +1.00 instead of a -1.00 to the total power.
