Last weekend was the 25Th anniversary Vision Expo weekend. There have been a couple of post's on it.
So far no real assessment of the show. No news about record crowds, just about no news on it.
Was the show a success or a flop and what were the opinions on those who participated. At least it should have been the largest even on this side of the Atlantic as Vision Expo West is usually much smaller.

Twenty five years? I thought vision expo was just Optifair (which was way more than 25 years ago) under a new name.

International Vision Expo officially opened 25 years ago. OptiFair occurred before International Vision Expo. The show just reported that it is at least 7% up over last year with over 1,000 more attendees. An independent audit will be conducted in the coming weeks which usually idenitifies more people. There is ample coverage on the event on VisionMonday and multiple websites including www.facebook.com/visionexpo.

The entire Javits had a new look & feel. It was a GREAT event...best in years.
