I KNOW! The number of independent opticians it takes to screw in a light bulb! 1 to hold the ladder, 1 to turn the light bulb, and 823 to stand around and talk about how Essilor owns the light bulb, the socket, the electrical line, the ladder, and produces the electricity to power it!

It's the number of angels that can dance on the head of a pin. This number was confirmed by our drummer, who had a vision after a gig at a CYO dance on August 25th, 1965. It's also the bra size in millimeters of the O'malley twins, who tended to frequent such events. We're not sure which came first, the twins or the vision.

    Hence the term "QuadraVision".

Since GM went for "snark"....it's the number of NEW lenses that Luzerne entered into the VisionWeb database. We could only delete 60.

I just found it interesting that there were so many new lenses/lens options introduced in one year.
