Speaking from a passionate snowmobiler's point of view:

1)Invest in a heated visor for your helmet.
2)Invest in a contact lens fitting, because any glasses inside the helmet will fog, as well as the visor, if unheated, when you slow down, or stop!

PermaBrite from Danker is the best I've found.

But being from the South, what are snowmobiles for?

I'm sure Chris will update us on how well it's working since that's an older thread.
There are rules. Knowing those are easy. There are exceptions to the rules. Knowing those are easy. Knowing when to use them is slightly less easy. There are exceptions to the exceptions. Knowing those is a little more tricky, and know when to use those is even more so. Our industry is FULL of all of the above.

Take a bar of hard soap and heavily smear both sides of lens/visor. Then buff with soft cloth. Good for all day.

Anti fog products have many uses from the arctic to the steaming jungle in S America and if applied properly will protect 100%.

    Just curious Specs4U,
Did you find something that was 100% no fog as you were requesting?
My personal experience has been when using anti-fog, yes, there's no fog, but there's a residual water layer that takes it's place & is just as annoying.
Love to hear your personal findings.

Varilux has a new Opti-fog coating that is supposed to be pretty good. Here's a site to check it out a little.

Redhot Jumper It is Zero Fog not Opti Fog..................................

Many or most of the new products introduced in the optical field have been used in industrial applications for quite a while.

With my Zero-Fog on the optical market for 17 years it has gone the opposite way, and has made it into general industrial applications.

Many of you are using it without knowing. It is used on the inside of instrument covers by a good part of the worlds largest automotive corporations, like

Through its effectiveness, Zero-Fog has been for the last few years and is presently used on the inside of Dashboard Instrument covers of 18 of world wide automotive brands as:

Two & Three Wheeler: Bajay, Mhindr, Yamaha, Piaggio, Honda

Cars and Utilities: Tata, Daewoo, GM, Mhindra, Piaggio

Agriculture : Mhindra, Daewoo, Piaggio, Solanika, Tafe

Commercial Vehicules: Ashok Leyland, Piaggio, Eicher, Tata, ICLM, Freightliner, Volvo, Nissan

Nano-film has a great anti-fog coating too. Interesting info Chris, and thanks for that. Congratulations on a great material.

Anti fog products have many uses from the arctic to the steaming jungle in S America and if applied properly will protect 100%.

where do you get these, you are DEAD wrong & my stuff I sell is 100% figures. Uncut says he's an avid snowmobiler & he says there's no 100% solution.

DID you know this? When you get rid of the fog you are left with water on the lens which is equally annoying to see thru.

think back to the original post, he specifically asked for 100% guar.

How is it all of your products are just so perfect?

"Your markaway removes markings that acetone won't"?

Your antifog is 100% & we are "all dead wrong"?

And we don't know how to "define a good AR coating" but you take it personally when we say we really just don't need ar remover because our coatings don't give us problems therefore they never need to be removed.

"Oh & all ar coats can be removed." but others have stated the lack of success when attempting to remove AR & after the failed attempt to remove the AR, the lenses are ruined, toast, history! But Chris says all AR coats can be removed! Then stand behind it bud, that's all any good business folk would do.

You call other's posts "messed up statements" or "nasty posts" or we are "dead wrong." just when someone challenges you & your 100% claims.

I dunno, let's just all try to be sweet & get along & stop calling things facts when they are not..

Nah, you shouldn't. For the most part just quoting you.

Ya' know, maybe you should add to your signature,

    Stick with a Winner!

I have personally used the product manufactured by Chris. I found it to be superior to anything I have used on the market. Once I have a winner, I tend to stick to it and this is no exception. You can try this product with confidence and you won't be disappointed.
