Blizzard hitting us tomorrow. I am staying home!!
I'm betting diaper sales spike upwards nine months from now!
It goes like this: "Oh, I wish I was in the land of Cotton, old times there and not forgotten, look-a-way, look-a-way, Dixieland...."

Yea you guys are going to get smacked in the face today! It's snowing pretty good up here in Omaha and the wind is horrific but it's supposed to be -35 below with windchill tomorrow..oh yay! Remind me of why we live in the Midwest?
P.S. We closed a whole 30 minutes early yesterday but open for business today! Let's see how many patients cancel or don't show up..:hammer:
None of the vision center associates came in today so we are closed. I do not want to get stranded at work.
Yay. We're closing at 5:30 instead of 7:00 tonight. Looking at the schedule, almost all of the patients have canceled for this afternoon. I certainly wouldn't want to go out in this 40 mph blizzard conditions to get my eyes checked!
Ok....I know things are rough down there in the USA, but....
Quit stealing our snow!
It's Canadian, eh!:bbg:
I didn't bother to go in. I have a months worth of pt to use up and I know I wouldn't be doing anything at work anyway. Besides my wife is home and we are cleaning house.
Lots of ice here but made it in to work. Still have people out and about coming in to our Optical shop.

all you snow bunnies enjoy your extra time off :)
Yeah CocoIsland58! I was shocked when our entire Health system shut down, with the exception of emergency/urgent care services. So we were closed. we did, however, get 4 hours of pay, if we want to use vacation to cover the other 4 hours we can. But yes, Michigan is hardcore. We go to work in snowshoes if we have to.
Interesting that my contact lens lab in Grand Rapids closed due to weather
