Has anyone used Polycores products? And if so, is the product good quality, especially their AR coat.

    Thanks

Yes, we used them at one point. I'd say their quality is "good," more or less middle of the road, not great, not horrible.

But if you start ordering lenses from them, quality will be the least of your worries.....
There are rules. Knowing those are easy. There are exceptions to the rules. Knowing those are easy. Knowing when to use them is slightly less easy. There are exceptions to the exceptions. Knowing those is a little more tricky, and know when to use those is even more so. Our industry is FULL of all of the above.

Actually I worked for Polycore for about 18 months and found their products to be pretty good. I'm still wearing my Futurise Brown Polarized lenses in my sunwear and have been since 2007.

The only big problem you will have is backorders.

I have a lot of experience with them. If you understand that you're buying a "good" product and not a "premium" product you won't be disappointed at all. The A/R will last around 9 to 12 months on average before delaminating but you will see some back in three-to-six for scratching on occasion. Backorders are not as big a problem as they once were. I like the company and the product.
