Floods in Australia

Quite a few optometrists and opticians have been affected, so many dead - not as many as in Brazil, but I live in New Zealand - and am a neighbour to Australia.
Just wondering if anyone here is from Oz, and if so - are you ok? How are things in Brisbane and Toowoomba?
