‘Vision Test’ App for Android Phones

The ‘Vision Test’ App for Android phones is now available. The App is already available for the iPhone and iPod Touch, with the objective of driving eye test footfall into independent Varilux Consultant Opticians (VCO’s).similar version for the Apple iPad will also be available in 2011.
If the results of The Vision Test are less than 100%, the App indicates that their vision could be improved through optical correction and a full eye exam is recommended. Users can search for their nearest Varilux Specialist Optician either via postcode or GPS based on their current location.


Since its launch in mid July this year, the ‘Vision Test’ App has permanently occupied the number one slot in the Medical App Chart, with the latest download figures of 366,000.
