It's the week after Christmas, but Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick was still in the holiday spirit as he gift-wrapped this touchdown for the victorious Minnesota Vikings.
C'mon man!

My fiance is a Vikings fan so he was pretty giddy after that game.
Yeah, i don't like Vick at all.
I feel that any person who can deliberately cause untold physical pain and suffering to a living creature for gratuitous entertainment is a sadist. He loves to watch animals tear each other apart, he loves to hear the screams of pain, he loves to see the wounds inflicted, and lastly he loves to dispatch the loser. This is a sickness in the soul of the man, this is who he is. Getting caught created his "remorse". He's smart, he felt the disgust, saw his livelihood threatened, got good PR advice. He's still scum.

As a Vikings fan transplanted in Phoenix, it was finally great to see them win. They sure have had a jinxed year.......2011 will bring great things!! (I know I am the perpetual optimist)
I came, I saw, I left
I have a friend that's been a member of the ASPCA for decades, and he wrote them a nasty letter and canceled his membership when they came out in support of Vick after his sentence. I personally think he's saying the right things, but I don't think he really deeply feels it.

I personally feel that he has paid his debt to society and that should be the end of it until he gives cause to think otherwise. He'll never rid himself of the shame of what he did, or change any opinions about it, but to constantly pillory the man is beyond the beyond's, to turn a phrase. Who is to say how long he remain an outcast....One of us?...... Let it go!

I believe he has the right to return to work and move on with his life. But this crap about him getting a dog... You cannot love something and at the same time want to see it beaten and tortured.
1000% correct!!

People have as much right to hate him forever as they do to forgive him. There will be plenty of each. I side with the dogs.

anyone who hurts animals or children should be put in a burlap sack tied tightly shut and beaten with baseball bats. just my opinion.
The punishment should have fit the crime - stick an electrode up his butt and shock him a few times. I'll bet that would get his attention!
