triumph tracer help

This may qualify as one of the dumber questions ever asked, but I need some help.

We've always used optronics edgers and one 7070. Just purchased an older Triumph tracer, and have no clue how to use it. How do you enter data (ie job #s, etc) without any keyboard input?

Been a year or so but you should have a few options. Either a barcode scanner, external keypad, or depending on tracers software. the far left of ten buttons below screen should toggle a manual entry mode. (I do not remember if this option has to be activated) Once that key is pressed it changes the options above the keys to 0-9 for manual entry. I believe the method of accessing that tracers setup menus is to hold down the 5th and 9th buttons simulataniously counting from left.
