    Question

Hi from a new member. Great site!!
Does anyone know where I can download the CIE Chromaticity Diagram in a file format that will allow me to plot the results of Traffic Signal Conformance calculations directly on the diagram? Right now I have a downloaded picture of the diagram and I am simply putting in a box symbol in the approximate locations.

    Hi John!

Glad to see you've joined OptiBoard!

I'm not sure if this will help, but check out Darryl Meister's OpticsLite Excel spreadsheet. You'll find it in the OptiBoard File Directory (click on the 'Downloads' button on the left.)

This file plots the transmission points of various lenses against the CIE 1931 chromaticity diagram, and includes 'source', 'green signal' and 'yellow signal' values. Someone with knowledge of Excel and Visual basic should be able to use this to construct the program you want.

Say hi to Tom, Bill and Russell for me!
