Anyone going to watch the Sweet 16 games tonight? I love this time of year and watching all the games. My husband got me hooked a few years ago. I'm a big Duke fan so of course I'll be watching them tonight!!

I'll be watching, although my $10 in the pool is already lost! I had Cinncinatti winning the tournament, so I'm sunk (but I did win last year by some stroke of luck).
I'll be pulling for Pitt (which has no chance after getting into the Great 8 round, injured and facing Duke and all).
Have fun watching... good luck to the Blue Devils!

Well now I'm just bummed as can be...I can't believe how the Duke/Indiania game ended! I really want to call in sick tomorrow because the O.D. I work with is really going to rub it in. He hates Duke! Time to go call the boss, ha!
Vicki
Well, I have a lot of empathy for you... Being a fan of neither Duke nor Indiana, I was able to sit back and enjoy what was- in my opinion- the best game of the tournament without a care as to the eventual outcome.
My happiness was short-lived, however, as Pitt (oh, I'm sorry, they insist on being called "Pittsburgh" now) made a pathetic showing and lost to Kent State (where are those guys even from???).
I suppose I will now have to root for Indiana to go the rest of the way (which means they are destined to lose their next game)... One of the docs here graduated from Indiana University's Optometry College- so he's understandably quite "pumped."

Seems like there is always one team that makes you just want to root for them. (First time I paid any attention to the NCAA tournament was in the 80's, when Villanova ended up beating Georgetown- I think Nova was a seven seed that year.)
This year, Indiana has been very entertaining to watch. The win over Duke (sorry Vicki) was simply amazing, and I've never seen a team start a game by hitting 8 three pointers in a row! Too bad one of their key players appears to be out for good...
Anyway, its nice to see an old powerhouse back in the Final Four.
