Help. My Lens Clock wont Clock properly

I brought a brand new Grobet USA lens clock but it will only clock at 0. Meaning when I lay it againt a flat surface it will clock 0 but when I try to actually clock a base curve of a lens it only hits 0 as well. The middle pin refuses to go past 0 into the + portion of the clock. What should I do? Just send it back and try another one or can this be fixed?

    Thanks

As it is brand new, it should not be your problem to fix it. Just return it and ask for another one that works.

    Stick out tongue

Should be able to return it unless you've tried to overclock it in which case you've voided the warranty.

Try clocking something other than a plano base lens.....
There are rules. Knowing those are easy. There are exceptions to the rules. Knowing those are easy. Knowing when to use them is slightly less easy. There are exceptions to the exceptions. Knowing those is a little more tricky, and know when to use those is even more so. Our industry is FULL of all of the above.
