Disappointed

The idea to meet forum members at VE sounded like a good idea and I was looking forward to it. However, there seemed to be a lot more people than the forum sign-up list would indicate and it was not all that easy to find board members. Maybe next time some kind of "Hi-my name is-------" session could be held to help members get to know each other. Then again, maybe it's just me.

Hi Eyesguy,

It did go by fast, didn't it?!

Maybe next time we can meet for a longer period of time outside the busy work day.

I did enjoy meeting and hanging out with Harry Saake and others on Friday.

A couple of us hung out at the Marriott 8th floor Sat PM as we said we would, but I didn't see (or recognize) any other optiboarders there.

Gees,

There were so many at LIVE I couldn't tell who was who after a while. Somebody took a lot of pics. The remaining people took a group shot on top of LIVE's booth. It was really gracious too for them to host us.

We must of missed you Laurie at the Marriott, Steve, Pete, Harry and Ian and I were at the Marriott on the 8th floor from 9:30 till 11:00 PM on the area between the clock tower and where the rotating bar was. We were leaving as the Queenie and Escorts parade began.

Great seeing you now look for a future post recapping some highlights.

:cheers: Eyesguys, i think one of the reasons the meeting went by so fast, was we had to allow the live eyes people the space to sell there product as they were gracious enough to let us use it. I also suspect in the future we will be more organized and everyone will have shirts and be recognized.
.....I personally had a wonderful time hanging out with Steve and his lovely wife Marlena at the transitions party. Laurie Pierce is just simply charming and i had a wonderful time assisting in one of the 4 hour classes on hands on dispensing, also kudos to Alex Yoho who was running the course and did a superb job. We need more classes like this.
.....It was also wonderful to meet everyone else, at least now i know what one of the other Harrys looks like, and pete and Ian and bev and the other Laurie and everyone else.

It was great meeting you too Harry and the others. Time did go by so fast even more so when you present. I look forward to seeing many of you sometime in the future. Maybe Eyequest or Expo West.
