looking for info on getting other state license

I am nys licensed optician and would like to relocate anywhere. I am looking for information as to what states pay well. I am also interested in knowing which states would only require me to take the practical. unfortunately I have been doing this so long that I forgot the formulas we need for the written but I know I will ace the practical. I am abo certified ... Life in ny is getting just to expensive need an alternative got any suggestions

SC has some of the cheapest living in the country, and all you need is to bring your ABO, NY license, and sit for the practical. An SC license can start any chain for $20/hr, 41k a year unless they're terrible. More or less in independents and group practices depending on what you have to offer and what they need. Average salary here is around 30k and average household income is around 40k or so, so youd at least be average or above in income.
