    VATERS and Aicardi Syndromes...

    A trooper of a ten year old girl was in with V.A.T.E.R. and Aicardi Syndrome.

    OD +7.00 -.75x140
    OS +9.00 -4.50x 180

    VSP Going with Poly transition AR.
    (Always been in poly from other places.)

    How strongly would you recommend aspheric?

    Anyone with any further suggestions?

    My short answer is strongly, especially if in a larger frame or off-centered pd. Given the limitations this patient likely faces including retinal lacunae, and discomfort with certain physical positions I would think as perfect a periphery as possible would be highly advisable. Any specific limitations or financial issues preventing it?
