Yes, this lens is decent. We were using it on alot of our VSP jobs. We had very few problems with this lens. They say it is based off the AO Pro design , but improved.

As I understand it, this is the 2nd generation of the AO Pro. It is a soft design. It's also very similar to the AO Instinctive.

It is an older lens (around for at least 10 years) and many newer nicer styles are available. It is decent, when I used to fit it, I never had any re-dos.

AO Easy was launched about 6 or 7 years ago. Like AO Pro, it is a "bipolar" lens design with Dirichlet smoothing. AO Easy also relies on "superposition" technology, which essentially combines a hard design with a soft design in order to produce a design that offers the benefits of both. Consequently, AO Easy offers a shorter corridor length and slightly wider distance and near zones than AO Pro, which is a super-soft lens design.

    Best regards,

I haven't used it lately but we used to use it some and it was a decent lens.

We don't use the AO easy any longer but we use the AO easy HD pretty frequently which seems to work pretty well. Darryl can you give your brief definition of "bipolar" and "superposition" technology?

Ok. I'm relatively new to optiboard but I think I got it right. Thanks Darryl.
