Its been 3 days that I've had no wisdom to start my day. I sure hope he's ok and just being a slacker.

Maybe he was mugged in Brussels again and needs us to forward 10,000 whatever dollar they use to a Nigerian bank account to help him out!
In Chris's absence, I will share this gem of wisdom:
Long weekend wisdom:
For all you cottagers, and weekend warriors!
Put the plug in the water drain hole, before launching your boat!

Chris? Where are you?
Anybody checked on Chris?
I sent him a message last week and have not heard back. I will call his cell phone and I have his work number.
I will report back.
Thanks Craig.
Thanks From me too!

i left a message on his cell phone and his office.
He has not updated his website since 9-1-10; that is not like him. He is a 20 year cancer survivor, he is tough.
Thinking of him!
Craig
His office would be closed today. On Monday, hopefully someone there can let us know what is happening to him.
Not Good!
Still nothing.

I just got off the phone with his co-worker of 25 years and Chris had by-pass surgery on 9-2-10 and is still recovering. He actually got lucky that the Jewish folk of Montreal don't elect for procedures in the month of September so he got in the next day; if it was any other month of the year he would have had a 90 day wait for the procedure.
WELCOME TO NATIONAL HEALTHCARE!
He actually had a mini-stroke that has delyed his release from the hospital, but yesterday was his best so far. He is up and eating on his own.
I can tell you that his support network is strong and ready to help! He has close friends and family to help him recover. They even have a group ready to drive his 75 year old butt to Florida for the winter.
This is where him being so cranky and resiliant will serve him well, he was given months to live almost 20 years ago!!!:bbg::bbg:
I will keep you updated and I thought he was too salty for flowers, but I will take hime to lunch when he comes to Naples.
Craig
Thanks Craig!
Wish you well Chris!!!
and Craig, PM me if you want to talk about wait times for National Health Care, since that is the area which I work. I do not think it would be appropriate for us to use this thread for that discussion.
I’m so sorry to hear that Chris has health problems again, but I’m glad that he is ok now. I wish him to recover quickly. He is a real survivor!
We all miss you Chris, hope your recovery is fast and smooth.
I came, I saw, I left
I think it is pretty cool that Chris went MIA for a couple days and that an OB search party went out to find him!
Wishing you a quick recovery Chris!

Get well wishes from Texas!!!!!
A lack of planning on your part DOES NOT constitute an emergency on mine!
Get well soon, Chris.
