Other uses for Air Tempering Units

Ok, I have 3 Kirk AA2 air tempering units brand new in the boxes. Does anyone know of any other uses for them before they literally become boat anchors or target practice? How about the small compressor units that come with them?

    Just looking for some ideas.........:hammer:

    Johns or Fezz......?

1.) I take the air pumps and stash them around the garage, shed, Fezz Estate, etc. They are not great, but better than nothing! You could give one to a friend, yard sale barter device, etc!

    2.) Target practice!

I actually tried to modify a few of them to do some knife blade tempering.

    I realized that:

1.) My handyman modification skills are extremely poor
    2.) I don't need another *HOBBY*
3.) That I should just relax and have a homebrew!

Hate to see them go to waste :( Why don't you see if Barry Shepard can help you sell them.

I'm guessing you're interested in selling them since this thread was started in the Optical Marketplace forum. What would you charge for one of those units shipped to Massachusetts?

    PM me with the answer.

    Shame about that....

How about hamburger cooker. The top air tubes can be made to dispense your favorite condiment.
