OBX here and OK. We had some pretty strong winds last night, one burst woke me up as it shook the whole house. It took down an 8" tree limb in my back yard, I was going to take it down anyhow. The rain bursts this morning are bad. Driving in to the office, it was sideways and heavy.

I didn't venture down to the beach yet, but it is reported to be not terrible. I will head down in a couple hours as it's supposed to start clearing early this afternoon.

Note to the news people, learn that the name is Kill Devil Hills, not Kill Devil, Not Kill Devil Hill.:hammer:

OBX out for now, I have to dry the window area which drips in when it rains this hard.

Sometimes I get sideways too when driving, but usually not on my way to work....
