Need Bi-concave or Lenticular Hi-Index SV for Super High Minus

    At least this is SV,
    The RX is R: -21.00 sph L: -24.00 sph.

I am looking for a High Index lens in that can be made either Bi-concave or Lenticular in this power.

Resolutions Biconcave -4.00 BC 1.74 would usually be my first choice but they only cut up to -20.00.

Any other solutions? We don't process anything Hoya, and we closed our account with Quest (due to a bad experience).

I did some -25.50s in 1.70 saddleback. Any good lab can do the same.

1.74 without a minus base curve (-24.00 +5.00 X xxx) It's the right lens below. Eye size is 40mm.

I would appeal that super high RX sometime require the need to mold (or laminate) their own blanks in any material (except poly), which requires some unusual equipment and some extended knowlege of the chemistry of certian polymers. Not everyone can do that. It also requires surfacing skills way above average so that blank doesn't get coastered.

I had Quest Lab in FL do a pair of -25D softly, blended myodiscs.

    Terrific and reasonable

I don't know about above average surfacing skills. I've been doing this since I started surfacing glass, way back in the late 60's. Had a high school kid that worked for us that I would trust with it too. Few others around here that I would trust with the job: Harry Chilling, Dragonlensman, Laramy-K, etc. It's not as complicated as you think, you just need to be smarter than the lens. :D

Barry: he already ruled out Quest for other reasons. Laramy-K may be another option.

I've had excellent experiences with Ice-Tech.
