Can some one explain technical aspects between the Hoya Lifestyle ID and Hoya ID? And how do you present the differences to patients?
Any help is appreciated.

"There is nothing patriotic about hating your government or pretending you can hate your government but love your country."
In addition you can call your Hoya rep and have them give their spin. Luckily ours is a straight shooter as far as company reps go.
The iD has a custom Front and Back (Aspheric/Atoric) surface, both surfaces of the iD product are custom produced to your order. The iD LifeStyle has a molded front surface and a custom Back (Aspheric/Atoric) surface produced to your order.
Both lens products are unique and use HOYA's Double Surface Free-Form Technology. HOYA does not start with a Single Vision Semi-Finished lens as others do, so the process and technology differs from the "industry standard".
It really might be best to check with your local rep for details on the product.
