    Dianetics/Scientology

Well, let's see what this digs up...:)

How many out there are into Scientology? I'm not but would like to hear from those who are. Personally from what little I know about it it sounds like Darwinism. Am I right or wrong?

Anyway, let's hear from all the Scientologists.

    Dianetics???

Dianetics? Is that what you call fellow OptiBoarder Diane Drake's exercise routine? (Or maybe when she has an eyelid twitch?)

    ;) Its Dyanetics, my friend...

Hey - why don't we all take the Scientology Personality test!

    :bbg:

P.S. Don't really do this unless you like the thought of giving the the Scientologists a lot of personal information.

No, that's the study of Dyan Cannon, or Moshe Dyan, I forget which. Maybe both. Together.

    L. Ron Hubbard's first book was indeed called "Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health".

The most important thing to know about Scientology is that Tom Cruise is a Scientologist, and that he left Nicole Kidman.

If it can't be said to cause psychotic behaviour, it obviously doesn't prevent it.

    Hiya yous guys,

In her younger days I would have studied Dyan Cannon, probably more than once even and twice on Sundays :)

    Pete,

How could you be wrong? Robert has verified that you are in fact wrong. I'm gonna have to go lie down for a few minutes and get my head around this. I'll be back in a few......

I'm back now. Still in disbelief though. Dianetics also lead into the human condition and mans treatment of man. It's kind of like trying to read Dirk Pierce and Sandy Shaws "Life Extension." They're all very intelligent and all very strange with some interesting ideas ;) But (IMHO) very boring.

I could see going to Dirk and Sandy's house for dinner:

"Here's your five ounce glass of water, 100 mg of vitamin A, a Vitamin C tablet, an Aspirin and Sea Kelp. Isn't it delish? We're going to live forever even though we look as if we've been dead for years and our brains refuse to believe it." :)

    Talk to ya'll later,

    Darris C.

PS. If memory serves, John Travolta is also into Scientology.

I was sitting here in my office, and suddenly my feet felt strangely cold. I thought, "You don't suppose... naw, it must be something else?"

Then I logged on OptiBoard to make sure and WHAM! Sure enough, Robert and Darris agreed about something! Folks, remember what you were doing at this moment!

Just Guys, or do you consider me one of the guys, aw!
And don't study Dyan anymore should you ever get the urge, we go to the Lakers games often. She is the second most regular "celeb" behind Nicholson. Our seats are near them. It's a wonderful thing what television makeup can do. It's not a pretty sight in reality. Come to think of it, maybe I need her makeup artist:shiner:

    Big Smile For Pete's Sake

In recognition of Pete's supreme sacrifice, a new religion should be formed.

Petism. Peetism? "Peteism" doesn't look right.
