There are rules. Knowing those are easy. There are exceptions to the rules. Knowing those are easy. Knowing when to use them is slightly less easy. There are exceptions to the exceptions. Knowing those is a little more tricky, and know when to use those is even more so. Our industry is FULL of all of the above.
Hey - we can all be like Rand! Form our own boards and issue certifications to ourselves with no interference from them ol' hypocritical organizations!
Want certification? No problem - just issue as many as you want for yourself for whatever level you want!

I've always wanted "Omniscient Lens Guru" but I may have to fight TLG for it..... Unless he would be willing to accect THE Lens Guru (with empahsis on the THE, and the bold font must always be pronounced as well).
Acutally, I think I will just settle for "Omniscient Lens Being." Sounds more nebulous.....kind of like marketing claims.
