I have had a poster made up...black and white, just words and an image...it's for my office window advertising a sunglass frame sale, so I wanted a large, to-the-point poster. The poster came out OK, but I'm wondering for my future reference if anyone can tell me what's the best font for large posters (approx 26x36)?

Impact is one I'd use on a big poster.
My favorite font is hard to find, but it looks like something you'd see on an old Yes album - Argonaut.

Copperplate Gothic Bold
My personal favorite. A touch of elegance without being ostentatious.
There are rules. Knowing those are easy. There are exceptions to the rules. Knowing those are easy. Knowing when to use them is slightly less easy. There are exceptions to the exceptions. Knowing those is a little more tricky, and know when to use those is even more so. Our industry is FULL of all of the above.
For me, Impact too.
