Yes, you have to pick one of the four wishes listed...
$100 million cash- BUT, you will die in your sleep ten years to the day you receive it
The ability to go back and live the past 10 years over again (retaining what you know now)
You will become the world's authority on the subject of your choosing...
You will be neither rich, famous, or necessarily talented, but you will have contentment your entire life.
Yes, you have to pick one of the four wishes listed...

If I had one wish...
It would be that Tom "El Diablo" Daschle and Dick "Poco Loco Dicko" Gephardt were gone.
Ahhhhh! What a wonderful world it would be then. I can just see it now, people would be making money, working, supporting themselves, taxes would be lower, we could live the American dream (finally) crime would drop, kids would be educated in public school instead of left behind and you could walk down the hall of your work place, say "Hello. You look very nice today." to a lady in your office and not be dragged into court for sexual harassment. Oprah wouldn't be the highest rated daytime show and men wouldn't cry like babies because they got in touch with their feminine side :)
Yup! I'm a dreamer, I know but what's life without dreams? ;)
Oh well. It's too much to ask but I felt compelled to try.

Every day life sometimes can be stressful enough.
I voted to keep it simple and to have fun and enjoy.
I just wish I was born Rich instead of good looking!
100 million and ten years werent enough. I vote for #3.
Voted for 3rd.
That will hook me off all other responsibilities !
But at least I will be comitted to one single thing!
What i ment to say is that i voted for #4.Sean said:

Well, I suppose the fact that no one has thus far "grabbed the cash" should be encouraging. It occured to me that knowing you would have exactly ten years might be an additional inducement- might be interesting to know exactly which day is your last!
So far, most of us have chosen the one option you really don't need the Genie for in the first place...

AH, a life of contentment. No pressures, no grave errors, just to be.
That's the only way to go.........Jackie L said:

I voted for the 100 million and 10 years. At least I know I have 10 years to go.

If I had the knowledge I have now and 10 years to change things, I would be awesome now! :D

It would be that Darris would be gone, to save Daschle and Gebhardt.
Not really.
I dunno - given all I've put my body through over the first 51 years, I'm not sure that I should expect another 10 years, so, I could be improving my life expectancy...
And I could pay Darris to shut up...
Those are the sweetest words you've ever said about me, Robert.
Don't go all mushy on me now. I'm too use to the "Grumpy old man" that is Robert :)
My wish would be that Liberalism be gone and that Robert would adopt me so that I could always be near my Mr. Shanbaum :D. I'll pack my bags tonight.

PS. Should I call you "Dad" or Uncle Robert? :D
Play nice. :D You know you thrive on sparring.

Darris,
Is your "Dad" making you soft?

Cindy,
Yes, my "Dad" is bringing out the tender side of my emotions ;)

I voted for getting the ten years back, as it contains aspects of all the others.
You can make the money quite easily because of your knowledge. (£1000 on Diana buying the farm, etc etc)
You can have a pretty good chance at being happier than you are now, since you will know what mistakes to avoid. (Granted, you may discover some new misery on your freshly chosen path)
And you can advance your knowledge in the chosen field by 10 years, also claiming any discoveries made in the last ten years as your own.
Morally bankrupt? Yes. But a win-win situation? Hell, yes! :)
I almost went for the 100M because I want to die happy, and with that much money I could buy enough drugs to keep me up for 10 years!:D Chose contentment instead. One our of two ain't bad!

Would like to think that I could make a difference in life ....
without the constant hope that somebody might notice.....
and then spend the rest of eternity contentedly, joyfully and unhurriedly revisiting all of the wonderful situations in all of history that have happened when some people have made a difference in spite of the comort or discomfort they may have felt.
