I would agree with Morel Cottet and ProDesign. For something a little more funky, I would suggest Etnia.

When you say Morel, would you include lines like OGA, Koali, Lightec?

I've heard those were pretty good, but have no experience because my store carries nothing like these product

I love Koali (not so much lightec or Oga) and have tried for two years to get them going in my neck of the woods to no avail. So it depends on your clientele. If they are as conservative as mine are then skip it as they cannot see the "art" in them.

Prodesign is one of the few lines I will stand by 100%. The design, style and quality is remarkable considering the cost, not to mention some of the wild hinge/mounting ideas they employ. Until recently they havn't been the best for smaller PDs, though a few of the newer series work for tweens and petite adults.

Other than Prodesign I feel like I would also say the same things for OGI.

Koali (especially some of their new sun) are just so fun! They tend to be for only a very specific taste though, those that like strong lines and lots of color! Oga is beautiful, especially for a gentleman who has....shall we say a....fuller face, but price points can detour some patients (though I don't feel they are that bad). The tech frames are great for people who don't have the higer pluses (those tend to pop out a bit more often than not). But they are nicely priced and Cottet has updated them a great deal in the last couple of years. All in all, Cottet is a favorite of mine!

I hate to say it because it looks like a simple men's line, but I really like the Precision line of titanium frames. "What frames do you recommend?" "Take a look at these Precision frames. Simple lines, but very durable and there is enough variety to fit a lot of people." I sell at least one a day.

Pro Design and Morel products. I like the NEW Koali frames that have just been put out, I love both Lightec women and mens line and Oga is still a great product. When their return rate is 2% each year..that's pretty good!

Especially the 711 model, withdrawn now but soon to be back in the correct color!

And I use a lot of the Precision frames by Continental.

Ok, I'm going out on a limb, and show ya'll what an old fart I really am. Now, before you start throwing snowballs at me (it's snowing on the connecticut coast this morning), please note that my niche of patients are 60 +.

Ok, here goes, I think Elasta from safilo is my favorite brand to sell.
    **************

    Here are my reasons:
They never come back really truly broken.
When they do come back, they are easy to get readjusted.
My little old men LOVE them.
My little old ladies LOVE them.

Ok, you may make fun of me now.

I still carry the 3000 series from them for my old farts and some of the Claiborn line for women - they even have several that come in silver.

Can't go wrong with Silhoutte and Ogi, they are some of my workhorses. I wish I could pick up ProDesign, I've heard nothing but excellent things. Maybe some day...

I don't have that. Maybe when my fantastic safilo rep who I am just in love with (wish he were 30 years younger) comes in I'll have to take a look. You know down here in Westbrook Ct they like their boats big and their gold frames.
