    Ronit Furst

Our office is thinking of getting the line but want to know first, how the paint holds up.
Our concern is that the frames may not hold while being adjusted. Also would be interested in any other information regarding ware and tare of the frame.

    Thanks,

    seboluka

The paint holds up exceptionally well! I can certainly attest to that. We purchased a dozen of them about 6 years ago, and each one looks exactly like it did the day I bought it.

Now, I'm not sure what tehy would look like if anyone were to ever buy one and wear it, but so far, that hasn't been an issue...

We've sold a few in the last couple of years and so far they've held up well for everyone. Like Johns implies :bbg: -- don't expect them to sell fast, but there are a few people who just can't seem to live without 'em.

Not sure about Ronit Furst but I do know there is a company called Casanova Eyewear that makes a collection of hand painted frames called Taxi. They are not inexpensive but I think they fit that niche nicely and hold up over time.

Taxi good quality, holds up well, not for the careless frame killing pt. Had a pair used as reader myself for about a year.... just dug it up, yep, paint's intact. Could never sell the other one, so am using it myself.

Grant/Estroff has similar styles and holds up very well. Again, not inexpensive, but I did very well with the line.

I personally like the line. It's a good choice if you are looking to spice up your inventory. My experience with them has been good - paint doesn't chip or anything. Generally, people like to use these as a reading only frame, as they are really "different".
