    Emmylou Harris

Has anyone ever heard of Emmylou Harris? The cd someone just bought for me is Red Dirt Girl. It's her first studio album
in seven years. Unfortunately, it's the only one of her cds I have. I want to get her 1995 release Wrecking Ball. She's been around a while I hear. She apparently used to sing with Gram Parsons before he died (like 20 years ago). I thinks she's
awesome. Frankly, its as if I just woke up from a long sleep....as if I have just
seen the ocean for the first time....as if I was in a hot air balloon
gliding just above the tree tops and then suddenly, we go out over the edge
and see a grand view before us. Ok, so I am no poet. BUT this stuff is AWESOME. ....Oh the joy of that
    moment....February 18th 2002...when I first heard Emmylou Harris.

No, I haven't had that pleasure, tho' I have seen her several times guesting on various tv shows.
I haven't been to many concerts, but over the years I have seen:
    Jethro Tull
James Taylor (when he still had most of his hair)
    Doobie Brothers
Michael Johnson (special concert for Spina Bifida Conference in St Paul)
Gene Cotton (same concert, tho' he resides in TN not far from me)
Kenny Rogers (special appearance for my daughter's special ed class last year)
Bela Fleck and the Flecktones (several times)
    and Jonny Lang

    I would love to see:
    Emmylou
    Enya
    Rod Stewart
    Sting
    Eric Clapton
    and others.

    :bbg: Billy Ray Cyrus said hello to my daughter and me at a pre-election appearance of GWB;

and I shared 5th grade with a daughter of Ernest Tubbs (ok, I'm 49 and it WAS a long time ago!)

Who have you seen? Which have been your favorite concerts?

My first Concert was (pause for effect).....Liberace!

OK, Dont Laugh...I shook his hand ....hey...I was like 8 years old.

I saw Hall & Oates....they were OK, Great Sax Player

Then John Cougar...I think he can rock but his concert was lame.

    Judas Priest....wow...what was I thinking???

Phil Keagy....No one should be allowed to be THAT good of a guitar player

And the VERY BEST CONCERTY EVER was Bruce Cockburn I would go see him anytime...you HAVE to check him out.

Id also like to see Lyle Lovett
