    All-Off alternatives (non-acetone)

I was just wondering if anyone uses something other than All-Off or acetone to remove PAL markings. Your suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Poster Chris Ryser has some great stuff that I have used. I forget what it is called, but you may want to talk to him. It is coating and poly safe, and is super quick.

Thumbs up MarkAway, MarkAway, MarkAway all!

I use alcohol majority of the time but if I need something stronger MarkAway is the one I use as well. Works as good as All Off but no fear of using it on the wrong material/coating.:)

Hilco does solves it and solves it for poly, good stuff, and handy cos it comes in pen format, so no waste and minimal mess.

    Thanks!

Once again Optiboarders ROCK! When I exhaust my supply of All-Off I'll definitely be giving OMS some business!

We use Dynamic Labs Marking remover pen. Safe for poly, works pretty good. Smells horrible!

Will have to try that, however my orange juice is outside the window, still hanging on the tree. Are you sure you are not getting any Blue-Blocker colored lenses with orange juice ?

This is like the fourth msg like this I have seen. Is it so expensive to buy the stuff? A bottle costs like 17 bucks and an pen 10. Pen bad deal. Bottle good deal even with the kim wipes. Why do we need to come up with crazy ways to get this stuff off, OMG I read frame warmer before. Even though I must admit the 20 grit idea is pretty good. They need to put this in the text book.... get the stuff! We use Amcon, whatever their brand is. Works very fast film comes off with two washes.
