    Hello

    Few months ago I received from these OpiBoard members a great advise on progressive lenses... made computer glasses that are excellent. Once more thank you.

    New Panamic Transition III progressive glasses are being made for normal daily wear and the optician is not positive where to fit the segs... center of the pupil, the base of the pupil or 1-2mm below the pupil. Once again I'm asking for your generous advice.

    These are the demo lenses fitting measurements:
    Lens - A=49mm, B=36mm,
    Bridge = 20mm
    PD's - L=33mm, R=33mm
    Fitting height = 23mm (center of the pupil)
    Rx:
    -----sphere--cylinder--axis--add
    O.D..+1.0.....+0.5.....180..+2.75
    O.S..+1.25....+1.0.....180..+2.75

    I'm wearing Varilux Comfort and Zeiss Gradal Rd (computer glasses)

    Thank you.

    We have found the fitting of Panamic lenses to work best when fitted center pupil just as Varilux comforts.
