I couldn't find a good image of the SuperBowl ad, but it may be the same glasses that Letterman is wearing in the photo (attached).

hrmmm, I look at that picture and the first thing that comes to mind is -

"those glasses look a little bowed out on the sides, maybe they could use a wee bit of adjustment."

    eh, maybe it's just me.

It's not those. It's a round, plastic, light brown frame

Actually he's wearing some kind of plastic frame in the SuperBowl ad.

    Check it out on YouTube.

It is a lafont! However, it isn't out of the reedition line...I thought the same thing at first when I saw it. I called them and have one on order for our client. Thanks everyone!

    Redhot Jumper David Letterman

Please call The Eyeman and ask for Lloyd. The Eyeman is located in NYC, NY on Broadway. He is the purveyor of celebrity eyewear.

I knew I wasn't the only one looking for Letterman's frames. Someone on here confirmed that they were Lafont frames. Do we know how that was confirmed? I have a person that wants the EXACT frames Letterman is wearing. Here is a photo out of People mag. It looks like he either has two frames of the same make in different colors or two different frames altogether. One frame is in a blond tortoise (my photo) and the other, pictured in an above post is a brown/honey colored frame. It's a shame no one knows anyone on his staff to call and get it directly from the horse's mouth.

    Thanks for any assistance!

I'd say Lafont Jupiter in 330 for the tortoise and Lafont Concerto in demi amber for the "orange."

Those are probably what I will suggest. Letterman's do not have the rivets on the front like the Lafonts, but they are certainly close enough. Thanks!!
