Does anyone buy clear glass and photogray lenses?

We no longer edge glass lenses but heave a hefty supply of semi-finished lenses. This includes 414 clear glass lenses in a range of common powers (+ and -) and 301 photogrey lenses in common powers.

Do any labs or anyone else buy lenses like this?

You may want to

1. Put them on the Marketplace forum

2. Contact mshimp, he has bought some in the past.

3. Ebay them.

I would take them, but I have a good selection right now.

A local lab offered to trade the lenses for some edged PALs but I think it might just be an attempt to get their "foot in the door" at our practice.

What's wrong with that? Sounds like a win-win. You get rid of your lenses, get some product out of the deal, and they get a chance to see if they can get some new business. I'd offer the same, if I were them.
