What's an Ipad?? Is that the same as an eyepatch?? And why is Apple making them and not Essilor??

To a guy like me, technologically challenged, I don't see my choice on the poll. It's the wait and see choice. I see right now a iphone/netbook/kindle combo but nothing exceptionally new, at least not yet. I never underestimate Jobs ability to come up with the latest greatest gadget, and we really don't know everything yet, until the release months down the line.

I anticipate some type of last second bomb from Apple on this, how it will in fact do something no one expected, or it could in fact be their first bomb, period.

I like it and I'll probably get one eventually, but not first generation. I'll wait for the inevitable bugs to be fixed first.

I could maybe get a bit excited about it IF they didn't stick with Apple Proprietary Products. Who needs yet another e-book reader that will only work with Apple-Store purchases?

not only that, but hopefully they'll add USB ports and other such "missing" doodads in the next gen of the thing.

Love is a duet, each voice complementing each other and making them sound better than they would alone, each voice at times stepping back and letting the other shine. We've got a pretty good duet going Tina.

On April 28th, I'll be marrying my best friend. I can't wait!

I'll end up with a couple of these things. They'll replace the laptops I have sitting on the kitchen table for the kids to use. Hopefully they'll add in flash support. I cant believe they put it out for trials with out it, how do you view all the web with out it? :hammer:

I had higher hopes. Thought it would be more groundbreaking.................looks more like someone ran a steamroller over a iphone.

That reminds me of a local song written in the 60's about when WV was bringing the Interstate through.

Its cool, but I cant see myself carrying one around. It could never replace my laptop or PC. My 16 year old does not want it so I guess it cant be that great.

I could see the opticians using ti at the dispensing table.

Of course, I can also see some 4 year old getting a hold of it and flinging it across the room!:finger:
