Freeform lens Mapper

What do you use for checking the maps of your freeform produstion ?
there is the lens analyzer from visionix, mecanical analyser from optotech....
can you advice me what is the best ?

It depends on what you are trying do for measuring. If you want to just confirm within a tolerance a contact measuring system will give you very accurate information.

You must have lens designs that give access to the point file to confirm with either the non contact method or the contact method.

If you just want mapping for the lenses produced you do not need the data point files

Both Visionix and rotlex will give you non-contact maps and I believe they offer products at similar prices.
