I have both a S&W M&P 9mm and a Ruger LCP. I actually shoot better with the LCP, I think because it's slimmer and I can hold it better in my hands. I still haven't gotten around to sending it back to Ruger for the recall issue, so it's been sitting in the return box on my bathroom counter for months :o But I don't recall having much trouble with it jamming like everyone says they do.
Since I'm not carrying the LCP, my compact M&P easily fits into my concealed carry purse that my b/f bought for me at a gun show last year. It's just friggin heavy, lol. I have the extended mag in it so I have a few extra shots ;)
